Didn't know if this should go here or in the offTopic but I was just curious as to what kind of power Chad is pushing. We lost everybody somewhere around the perimeter after NOPI and just kinda kept up with the DRFTKNG but every once in a while he would punch it and I'm sure he showed up as a blip on PDK's screen. A couple of Hondas (and one Subaru

) tried to play but he just embarrassed 'em. So props to the KNG for his finely tuned machine! And props to my new V1 for helping escort the parade through downtown...

it's because he has VTEC

but yea, SR's are fast. having one with an upgraded turbo is even more fun too, except when they try to die on you (anyone wanna donate some money to the "i need another turbo fund" while i'm on that note?)

yea, i think i wanna just get a stock S15 turbo for now since they're pretty cheap, fast spooling, and can make 300 or so to the ground.

Why are you over thinking your setup. I thought you just installed a new motor. Shouldn't you try driving the car FOERST?? Or do you just want a dyno qween?

hey cody. you should rethink the s15 turbo thing. i read in some mag that when they put the s15 turbine on it actually drained it of 13hp. i know it's not a lot but why spend $400 on something that will take power away.

how did that work? S15 turbo i a larger wheel and i believe higher a/r on the exhaust side.....

hmm, that is strange. i know a few people over here running it with great results (as long as you're not concerned with huge power, which i'm not) and for the price it seems the most tempting. let me know if you can find something really good for under $1k though and i might be interested

brand new s15 turboes are like $699 min. but they're worth it. throw in some taka lines and aftermarket o2 housing if you dont already have that.

add in 550's (or 480 s15 injectors if u can find them), z32 maf, rom tune = 300whp. 320ish with cams.

my brother's car pulls pretty hard with his hksgt2510. its basically an s15 turbo without the cast turbine divider wall between the wastegate and exducer ports, and is a .63 trim as opposed to .60 trim for s15.

i already have 550's, an upgraded fuel rail, Z32 MAF, greddy intake plenum, FMIC, JWT ECU/SAFCII, and full 3" exhaust so i think it could make for a pretty good setup. i'm trying to order a new o2 housing/manifold/downpipe this week too and then hopefully the turbo will come pretty soon after that.
i also got my greddy oil pan in the other day which is pretty neat, but i haven't had a chance to install it yet.
