David.. it's all good, really. That was an excellent post, if long. You want to know what I want from you?

In order of descending importance:

I want you to stick with it and keep coming to events, and I would never expect otherwise.

I want you to remember I said "This is probably the FOERST time I've even discussed him online and I don't want anybody to go kicking him, I actually try to help him a lot."

I want you to know I applaud your progress and attitude toward self improvement, in both drifting and conduct.

I want you to know I believe your explanation of the video, and that my interpretation, though valid, was not the artist's vision... unfortunate for sure.

I want you to know it's not about fair or unfair or calling you out. This is nearly the only board I frequent; the only I post in with any sort of regularity. It would be no more fair to expect me to go find a board you are on just so I can talk about it.

I want you to get tons better at video production.

I want you to know, in case you haven't guessed, I'm Tony Schulz.

Well now I feel like an even bigger cock, LOL! Humbled by your presence would be an understatement. You definitely helped a lot when it comes to getting over the fear of just throwing my car into the turns. DJones keeps kicking me in the bum to make sure I stick to the straight and narrow while helping me hone in the skill set. It's difficult, very difficult, but I'm committed.

Drifting is quite possibly the most addictive thing I've ever had the chance to experience (well . . .second most) and the chance to learn more and more about it is what keeps me going. I want to see just how far I can push this car stock, then I want to see how far the car can push me when modified. Hopefully I can avoid future pole-incidents.

Joe and I joked about that pole-hit because martymartymarty.net JUST got through talking about that in the driver's meeting and I fell into the gaze. I saw the car sliding that way and I couldn't do anything but stare, LOL! I though . . this is the last chapter in the Bullitt's saga.

I understood and understand your take. I'm actually going to edit the descriptions to make sure it credits you as the driver of the car during that time. I honestly didn't mean to make it seem otherwise and once again I apologize.

But yes, I'm going to keep it brief because I'm extremely tired, I put up the videos from Lanier (they're okay, not the best, but okay I think) and I spent all night watching them, studying my hand movements and listening to the engine to try to see where I could have done better.

Lately I've been two things:

1. Extremely self-conscious about my driving. I know people are saying "I'm doing fine" or whatever but for some reason I always feel like I'm doing it wrong, LOL! I see you, martymartymarty.net, Dave, Byron, Mike, Shawn, etc, go out there and KILL it, then I drive and it's like . . ."Aww he's trying to drift, it's cute." LOL!

2. I'm hell bent on trying to improve each time I do an event. I know it's only possible to do so much between events. But I try to reach a new level. Lately it's been a toss-up but I feel like I've been having fun with it and from what I hear, it's all that matters.

Alright, there's more I wanted to cover but I feel that Wall-Of-Text that Patrick bought to my attention. So I'll just stop here.

you will get it. No one learns overnight... plus your in a car that people don't have down to a science on how to set up and how to drive so it will take time and experimenting.

You have been nothing but cool to me and my friends. I don't know what your past was nor do I care to. Keep drifting and keep it fun!!!
