I might be able to swing this event! Do you know if there is a limit on the amount of drivers? Say... under 40 - or will they take as many registrations as they get?

I don't think there will ba a limit since they have the entire lot this time. There should be plenty of room and time for everybody. Hope to see you there!

ok mapquest guesstimates ~7.5 hrs for the trip, so i'd imagine we would get there in 6-6.5... ocala was 6 hrs, so i could probably handle this drive.

for those looking to go up the night prior, some hotel info and possibly a group rate:

I called about group rates and this is the info I got:

Rooms go for $89.95 + tax each
rooms include:
a King size bed with pull out sofa
or
2 double beds
they have continental breakfast from 6:30 - 9:30

Tina said she could give us a group discount for two rooms for $79.10 (84.64 with tax) each. I would imagine the rate would go down with more rooms but I wasn't sure how many were planning to come and stay the night before, so if you guys want to work that out and figure how many rooms you need I can call back and check on the rate. I will post this on the other sites as well.

I know what a stretch it is, though. Kinda like getting the WARwagon from my brother - only that truck is straight outta hell. Denali = HeavenlyTruck.
