..except that there's only a 5lb difference between the subaru impreza coupe and sedan. it's not really a smaller/lighter car. it just has fewer doors and is dumber when it comes to transporting things other than your own ass. there IS however a 200lb difference between our model years, yours being the lesser. but by the time you factor in the weight of huge spoilers, 18" wheels and tons of weird pepboys accessories (like air fresheners and cell phone holders) well then we're about even. it's kind of dumb to compare model years though, especially since subaru had to tip the scales with unnecessary things like turbos and intercoolers.
actually. the JDM GC8s were turbo charged with intercoolers and still somehow weighed around 100-150lbs lighter than the JDM GDBs. and if you really want to go nuts, the Spec C STI Type RA GDB weighed practically the same as a WRX STI GC8. however the Spec C STI Type RA GC8 weighs about 50-100lbs lighter than the Spec C STI Type RA GDB.
but yeah those heavy ass 18" Enkie RPOMs dont help my car stay light at all. they feel heavier than stock. so you got me there, charles.
