Only a handful of cars that didn't have hicas came with VLSD's in the states. It more than likely is an open, if you can't afford one just have it welded, but you can get diff's pretty cheap from importer's/e-bay/forums/junk-yards(J30).

ah yeah I remember now that only the hicas ones had it.. I hope to get one soon it will be driven more than just to events since Chris' daily doesn't have AC we will probably take turns driving it to work..

hopefully I can scrap up enough cash to make it what I want slowly of course haha

Right... I think the VLSD came on cars with HICAS and/or ABS.

My S13 is a weirdo because it's an LE with ABS (VLSD) but no HICAS.

I think it's kinda toast tho.. thanks to drifting.
