lol@finishing your own joke.marlow<12 wrote:wow thats a tight fit
that whats she said
Yea its pretty tight, gonna get a custom plenum to put the throttle body back some. And I think im just gonna make a new radiator support to give me some space, or run a civic radiator and a small intercooler. The radiator support is already cut and bolted on, so it'd be easy to access belts and such.
Old picture previous owner sent me a while back

projects got a long way to go. you have the rest of the car in a box somewhere?
::::: understeer is definitely a crime - Colin McRae
The rest of it is at my job. (cage, seat, radiator, intercooler, turbo, waiting on pants to finish testing their AE86 coilovers to get mine). I need to get the harness and drive shaft made. Then maybe the shitbox will move on its own.down_shift wrote:projects got a long way to go. you have the rest of the car in a box somewhere?
Seeing as its a shell on cut springs with an over sized motor in it, i'd have to agree.P.Haire wrote:that's like the WORST corolla ever.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Its pretty close, some slotting and I could probably fit it in. Might try an s13 crossmember.

Hey martymartymarty.net, should I go 20g?

Re: Corollacoaster time
i think it's better for to go top mount unless you do the s13 front subframe. you should do the s13 front subframe.

Re: Corollacoaster time
is that picture with the SR in the engine bay with the original engine blot location or the ones for the 2jz?P.Haire wrote:you should do the s13 front subframe.

You've got the wrong answer
Re: Corollacoaster time
Thats the 1jz modified cross member. I think a stock one might have worked better haha. I might be able to get that to work, but I might need the motor to sit lower. I dunno.marlow<12 wrote:is that picture with the SR in the engine bay with the original engine blot location or the ones for the 2jz?P.Haire wrote:you should do the s13 front subframe.
I actually am borrowing one from my buddy at another shop down the road. I saw a couple people just use s13/14 subframes with little modification. Pumped.P.Haire wrote:i think it's better for to go top mount unless you do the s13 front subframe. you should do the s13 front subframe.
Re: Corollacoaster time
Awesome! I love Levin fronts.
Probably like a year late on this but what happened to the 1J?
