Re: T.A.D. 2.0 Operation : Ressurection!
Sorry for leaving the thread hanging but I was totally beat last night when I got home. I do have a small update though and a few pics of where everything is sitting.
I started off the day with some hangups and it slowed overall progress down to a crawl for a while. But then I knocked that shit out and got some good prep work in for next weekends wiring DISASTER installation. Toyota made the mission tunnels lower and more boxed off for automatics. So as you can see I went ahead got fucking metal with it and started chopping away. I will take better pics later but you can see the transmission has entered the car quite a bit.

Here's another pic of the interior prepped for wiring. Turns out, upon further inspection, the entire harness (engine and body) was different. Really glad I stripped the last car down to the frame.

Now here she is on the ground and rolling. No interior still but that will be next weekend's fun. (I just noticed I have everything I need in there! A fucking gas pedal!) Now I must relax. My every thing hurts from being hunched over inside the car all day. That's what happens when you get old, fat, and lazy like me!

That be it for this weekend doods. Rock on!
Edit for post script; The last car looked cool but this one will not... yet. My account is tapped out for now so it'll be a stock body beater till I get some scratch. Aside from some Drift Mechaniks stickarz which, if you ask me, should be enough for now. haha.

Not really an update but I just found some pics of the old whip getting hammered on a bit. Thought I would share while my site is down.
EDIT for explination of ugliness: Had to pull the side steps cause they was about to get ate. Almost ate the rear bumper but wanted to slide dammit! So said fuck it.
<-- these little dudes are awesome.

Keep doin' whatcha do dudes!

TAD 2.0 Lives! I have been driving it around for a little while now. I was gonna wait to post pics until after a proper shake down... a sideways one. But I need to roll the fenders FOERST. Then it's just get the a/c lines purchased and locked in plus a little paint for the bumper and side steps that didn't get "ruint" on the last car. I think I will be keeping this color for now even though I am not a fan. Here it is in all of its glory.
As it sits in my parking spot. Needs moar lower but it will have to do for now!

The I/C actually sticks out past the chopped up stock bumper but a little paint on my old bumper will take care of that

Had to pick up this pipe cause my doooollliiiiiieeesss was all bent to shit. This big ass canister thing on the back hangs up every day on the way to work over the security gate popper upper things.

The carpet looked and smelled like somebody was murdered with a thousand cigarette butts and then bled out of their anus. I am a smoker but my cars have never stunk like this one did. I actually got choked up when I FOERST bought it. But it was semi cheap and had brand new JCI. Notice the super awesome e-brake button? I had to make it out of a small screw driver because I lost my normal one. I kinda like it though, it has character.

Got to get ready for shake down!

That's all for now. More to come later doods. Rock on and continue to be awesome DM!

I think that the two-tone is killer. I love it.. especially once you put the old body kit on it. Also.. is that a Recaro SRD drivers seat? If so.. Tyler might kill you for it.
