for those who like cheap wheels in decent sizes...

Post by CodyW »

i just stumbled across these:

Image
17x9, 5x114.3, and only $149 a piece!
http://www.wheelsdirectonline.com/mb/competition.htm

they're not the all time best looking wheels or anything, but they're a little different (and cheaper) than all the other played out wheels for S14's that i usually see (not that played out is bad, i still might buy some FN01R's one day :) ). ok, that's it, just thought i'd look out for any of the other cheap people like myself.

edit:
i found some that are even cheaper!

these come in even more sizes, and 17x9's are only $137!
hmm....maybe i need more drift wheels....

The ones on the bottom in gunmetal are what I was thinking about for the 8. But I like the top one too. They sell those at discount tire in bigger sizes like 18s and such.

Those wheels are $182.50 per wheel and then you have to add in the $89.99 for shipping. But yes they are nice as hell looking.

yea, i've been after some FN01RC's for a good year or so now, but for the sizes i need (17x9 and 17x10) are $196 and $204 a piece, setting me at a grand total of $800 (compared to $504 for the 5 spokes or $460 for the 6 spokes). the black/polished FN's are still some of my favorite rims around though, so maybe i can talk myself into saving up the extra money.

(just in case you haven't seen them in the new finish...)

That guy sells them new on ebay for $730 for the set and if they're what you want, who cares about $200?

isn't that before shipping though? the prices i posted include free shipping, but $800 is still a little more than i have right now. i might just buy a pair though and then get the other 2 later, but i don't know for sure.

These are $589.00 for the set plus shipping. 18x9 in front at 20 off and 18x10 in rear at 35 off. They have deep lips and I think they look pretty good considering the cost.
