new toy for my car!

well, i finally picked up a new intercooler last night after almost a year of living with the semi-crappy one that was on my car when i bought it (it worked fine but wasn't exactly the most beautiful thing in the world). i got one of the Hybrid GTR intercoolers from mike @ tophat in exhange for a few spare SR parts i had lying around the garage and i think i'll be real happy with it. it does have a few slightly bent fins from being a display model, but it definately looks way better than my current setup. i'm gonna take it back to him fairly soon and get my pipes modified for it, and then it'll be good to go!

Saweeeet!! Dayom.. that looks a world of difference compared to the one that's on there now. I can't wait to see it swapped out!

Hehe... you should paint shark's teeth on there!

the install is gonna take place down at top hat's shop since mike offered to hook it up for free (which involves changing around the pipes and all that), but i'm up for a movie/GT4 night anytime (maybe friday or saturday?)

Haha ^ Mike, you certainly love your Halo don't you? Awesome looks like a really nice intercooler. I don't know what the one on there looks like really, but from the sound of it that one is much better.

you can sorta see it from this shot...

not the crappiest in the world (the falken S14 in jersey this past weekend had me beat), but it looks pretty rough. for one, it has the unstable hybrids logo on there that i tried to take off (and i absolutely want no affiliation with that shop since the origianal swap they did was awful), it tilts down fairly bad, the end tanks are way bigger than the core, and it just looks kinda ghetto.

Your core may be all "old and busted" but at least you have one. New one looks sharp. Deffinatly paint on some fangs.
