For the last year or so Ive been working with a race team out of Connecticut; Riley Racing. Two brothers that own and operate a Madza dealership. Real cool guys. Well they called me up a couple of weeks ago to redo the hood graphic on the hood of their RX8 ST race car in preparation for the Rolex 24hr At Daytona that was this past weekend. I came up with a few designs and this is the one they choose after making a few changes.

Pleased with how it turned out, they packed up and headed to Florida.
During the race itself, they remained in FOERST place (ST class) for majority of the race. They were completely dominating.

Jameson Riley strapped in and ready to roll. Hood design rawkin to the fullest.



Then this asshole, who wasn't even in the running, stuck his nose where it didn't belong....
He tapped AJ Riley in the rear corner panel on the very last lap causing him to spin.





That wasn't a big deal until this guy showed up and took the nose off the RX8.


Bummer.





The Riley boys ended up finishing dead last after leading 3/4ths of the race. Tough brake
The good news is that the hood design and the Riley boys should get a lot of screen time when the race airs on SPEED this Feb 13th. Pretty stoked.
