There is nothing I can say that hasn't allready been said!

It's was cool getting to meet all the other DM's! It was cool to put some faces with some names.

I hope I can make it back up to ATL before next year.

I think next year you should be rockin' your Hachi andy!

I had a blast this weekend, it was totally worth the drive!

I say, you should try and find a used Stage 1 or 2 ESS Tuning SC, and get it rebuilt, then by a front mounted cooler seprately.

this weekend was about as good as it gets without actually getting to drive myself

(still bummed but be prepared for some other DM competition next year andy

).

i've never been to an event and seen so many people i know. it was amazing, i even saw people i know that have expressed a dislike for drifting when watching it on videos and such (lots of drag racing buddies), but were in awe when something like JR's mustang came ripping down the hill pouring all the tire smoke anyone could handle.

i thought some of the judging was off, but politics aside you tore it up out there andy. just goes to show it doesn't take 400hp to slide

Aww... THANKS EVERYONE!!!

You guys are the BEST, for real! It was the best having all of you there rooting me on. I couldn't have rawked so hard without you guys!!!

Hehe... I'll have to get something going for more power. In the meantime - I think I need to "bite the bullet" as Chris said and snag some coilovers. After watching the videos and seeing pictures from the weekend, I can see just how bad the body roll really was. The scary thing is - the body roll has reduced with the Bilsteins in. Either way... I want to get all my suspension taken care of before an RB26... I mean - more power

I don't think everything from this weekend has completely sunk in yet. Everything was soo awesome, and soo crazy! I can't wait 'til Houston. I want to get out there and tear it up twice as hard as FD ATL! Slide to side homicide 2005, yo!

Hey Shane! We definitely missed you this weekend. I was hella bummed that Steevo hit the wall. I'm glad he was okay. It was pretty banged up. Watching Brandon pull the backend out with the dually was like watching a dentist pull teeth. Steevo hopped right in Verena's car and tore it up!

I'll definitely be out there in Houston with Batl Dan! You better be out there so we can kick some top 16 arse!

What kind of coil overs are you lookin for?, I think GroundControl coilovers would probaly suite you best because they are very adjustable. check them out! http://www.ground-control.com

Adjustment means nothing without the right spring rates.

It's a german company so maybe they have a coilover that'll work for you Andy.

Ground-control knows there shit, They can come up w/ the best set-up for you. I found most companies are very conservative for street cars. So Ussually tell them its mainly a track car. Most people don't even set there coil-overs correctly. Common mind set is to adjust ride hieght to desired level. Never having corner weights checked and adjusted to correct % depending vehicale total weight and cross weight.

But you still need short throw shocks to use coil and sleeve kits

I had ground control cut 2inches of my shocks, That kept the shock in the middle of its travel when fully loaded. Correct me if Im wrong but arnt short throw shocks for sectioned strut housings? I chose not to go that route because of limited selection I had for shocks, most being more expensive than i wanted to pay for something i might tear up next night out by hitting curbs, trees, etc.. Andy, Scott and I all know about that kinda nonsense, well i think im the only one to jump it into a tree

No, JJ over at SEDA knows what your talking about when it comes to jumping into a tree

He lost it on the dragon and hit a tree, from what I've seen of the car, not much survived. except JJ. Back on topic though, Ground Control does seem to know there stuff, they have pretty much any application you could think of. Or if they don't they can make it for you.. I saw one shot of Andy from Formula D where its a pretty wide shot, but you can see a pretty noticeable amount of body lean.

Cool. If ground control can make it to where you won't bottom out then that's the way to go. I'm using ground control myself. I chose some conservative spring rates and I modified my own strut housing and use cartridges from another model car. Right now I have 325lbs/inch spring in the front and a 4.3 kg/mm TRD racing spring. Going with shorter stroke struts and shocks took away alot of my body roll.
