That thing looks rad dude! Keep us posted! Out of curiosity, how was mounting the motor/mission up? Did it just line up with home made mounts or did you have to create some awesome?

Re: The New Generation
The mounting stuff is quiet easy, on my e36 i just cut 1" of the oil pan and on this car we modified the front axle support. But its reallly not much, i think you can mount the engine without modifying anything but then its really tight in the bay and i dont like it when the engine hammers against the chassis...
I can see what i can find of a FIA Cage, i can't find a painting but i think i can organise a pdf of a rule book.

Re: The New Generation
Today i changed the Intercooler position, mounted it more to the back about 5cm so the front bumper will fit better, i modified a BMW M5 E34 Radiator that it fits into the E46, done some Intercooler piping and messured which samco pipes i need to finish, my friend made some brackets to mount the dash in the car.
Also looped the heater pipes und some other stuff, looks like we are good with the time table...

I am a fan of the sheer rad-damn-tastical-ness that is happening right now. That thing is gonna be a dream to drive! It'll be all like cruising "I'm a bmw"... then you'll put the foot down and it'll be all like "OH SHIT, I'M AWESOME!" It will have that beautiful toyota sound as well! Yeah!

Re: The Next Generation
Today no Pics, 2 Friends and me worked on the car, one on the electric, one on the dash and me at the engine.
So we got all stuff in the back wired (Lights, Battery, Fuel Pump) and the front is nearly ready (Lights, Fan, etc)
The dash is now mount up tightly, covers for the holes of the Radio, Heater Control are done, tomorrow we drill the holes for the switches and displays. Throttle pedal is connected to the engine.
And i mounted the power steering reservoir, put the original 328i radiator in it because the m5 is leaking, did some water piping...

Re: The Next Generation
Every day 4 hour working on the car after normal work is hard but we're getting closer to the end...
I did the upper pipe of the water, still dont know which or where is should put the reservoir... Connected the Samco Pipes which came today, only the 180degree pipe after the intercooler is missing...
We also did some covers on the dash sides, the panel for the middle and some wiring stuff for the switches...
