Funny Drift Wannabe story...(like there arn't a million)

Post by gotundersteer? »

I have nothing against people in general, but ignorant people drive me crazy. A few days ago I was at this grocery store with a friend, and we see his other friend in a 89' 240 pull up. So we talk about drifting, and he rants about how awesome he is and such. So meanwhile I'm just gawking at his completely stock automobile plastered with drift stickers.

So he starts talking about front wheel drive cars and how much better RWD is and all that good stuff. So I somewhat agree (I want an M3 so bad...) and mention that my cars more setup for grip driving and autocross. Then I try to mention that I can put 2 Kuhmo VictoRacers on the front, with like crappy Kuhmo's on the rear and slide like mad. Or even more so, put tons of negative camber on the front and none in the rear and make it even better. Once again, "blah blah blah FWD cars are crap". I've schooled enough RWD cars on track and autocross to know I can disprove this, and that understand that he knows nothing about camber or car engineering in general.

So I get in my car to go a little later, and buddy tries to be cool and slide around this corner out of the parking lot and smacks right into a curb, killing the rim and tire along with probably any front right suspension stuff. Ahhh, gods sweet revenge.

I agree... modesty > boasting. Your driving should do the talking, IMO.
