2 computers dead in 2 weeks

Post by Loki_LaVey6 »

Well incase you havent herd on the news that there is a good virus going around let me tell you it is and is sucks ASS. I have an older computer that I have been meaning to replace for like the past 6 months. Well on Monday it finally just took a dump on me. I was not mad at the fact that the computer was dead it was the fact that the 10 gigs worth of pictures that were on it are now lost. I was trying to back them up for like a week but the CD-RW quit so that was one more reason to get a new computer. Well I went and ordered a new Dell with a lot of good stuff in it. I was happy as hell the day it was sitting on my door step, Next to the new intercooler that I had ordered as well. Well That was on Wendsday night. Well on thursday the new dell started acting funny and come to find out it now is crashed and it locks up and will not get into windows now. I am so fuckin pissed cause now the old and new computer othe are dead in the water so to speeak. This week has been nothing but ups and downs and I am just glad I can go out and have a beer and start over.

Damn, killa... that is gawt damn frustrating.
Good luck getting that data back. You can always take the hard drive to get the data extracted... just DON'T take it to CompUSA.

Thanks for the info.

I called dell and told them that I was going to return the new computer, and after like an hour on the phone they got it fixed. They had to restore it to factory settings. I am just glad that I hadn't put anything on it yet. Now to get all of my old stuff off the other computer.

It is like Seseme Street or something cause my lesson learned today is "Back all yo shit up!"
