i found out how much power my car has..

Post by mikespeed95 »

so after i left altanta the car hasnt left the trailer.

today all that changed.

at approximately 613pm EDT the all american klan power ls13 unloaded from the base shitty pace trailer it has called home for the last two weeks and came inside the wonderful doors of XAT racing, where we build cars with our 2 hands and a big dick.

we strapped it down on our dynojet and after making sure everythng was in order it was time to pull.

294rwhp and overheated in one run.

yay for blown head gaskets.

and 340rwhtq.

and i finally saw that amist all that tire smoke was a tiny white haze. had bill dyno the car and it looked like an asian person was popping a squat in the rear bumper. wasnt like a plume or anything, but it looked like it was 20* outside yet it was like 70*. boop.

you know mike i have been thinking of your running problem. one thing, why where you having to jump your car off all the time? and also the head gaskets could have been getting wores as it got hotter. and more water into the cly.= running worse.

especially if it over heats that fast. do the coolant hoses swell up when it gets hot? it's a 2 way street, if water is getting into the cylinder, boost pressure is getting into the coooling system... that hot air hits the coolant temp sensor and since air heats faster than water it makes the gauge shoot up all of the sudden as the air hits it.

so you never dyno'd that magnacharged v8 when it was healthy?? 295rwhp?? the tq sounds nice, but i'd have to see the dyno sheet to see if it's healthy

if it was having the breaking up problems only when the alt was not working, the only problem with the car is that the coils are running out of power as the battery falls off 12 volts. since they are mad to run off 13.6ish and around 10 they will not have engh power to run the car.

duh

if hinson sent the shit to mount your motor with no promised wiring harness and other necessities to do a swap 48 hours before you needed to leave before long beach then your car woudl probably be pretty jank too.

cant wait to rip it apart and start over after PRI though.
