240 no crank...
So all week my car didnt want to crank very easily. Today it didn't want to crank at all. I figured it was the battery, so I got a new one. Still doesn't want to crank.
normaly when you crank a car it should go:
chug chug chug vroom
Mine goes:
chug chug chug chuuuuuuuuuuu
Its not the starter, because the engine is turning over.
It is getting spark.
Could it be the fuel filter, it could have been getting pretty clogged reciently, causing the crappy morning startup?

if it turns then turns slower then you're looking at a power related issue. if the fuel filter was bad it would turn over at normal speed the whole time and just not want to start.
from the sound you described it sounds like a power issue. check your battery cables and grounds from the motor to the chassis.

ive had a problem lately where a small cable attached to this little metal tab on the starter keeps coming loose, and finally it won't crank at all. usually it's either an on or off thing though, although once it was sorta loose and just made it crank slowly and sound real bad. probably not it, but just throwing that out there.
