Update pics of the FC. *now with working pics* :D

Post by Kouki7 »

well i was outside today when i decided to snap some pics of the FC while its down. since no one has seen the new gunmetal wheels (stock wheels i painted) i thought i'd post em here. hopefully Imagestation doesn't mess with my pics.

this is my temporary guage pod till i get a custom one fabbed. thats my boost guage in there right now.

Image

there's no paint left above that exhaust, it doesn't like flames to much ;)

Image

side profile, the fender, and front bumper are different colours from some damage it occured durring some "spirited" driving :D

Image

close up of the painted stock wheels...

Image

finally a shot of the motor. i tore it down some to get the injectors cleaned. it looks like a mess cuz, well, it is right now. when it was running it was 100% cleaner.

You can send them to andy to host, or I could host them for you if you like. As far as a good place to do it for free that's not us....um i dunno:) there are a lot of imagestation type spots to check out..

I went ahead and posted the pix, and edited your post to link them to the images on our server. Feel free to move any of the images around if I matched them with the comments wrong.

BTW... I LOVE the wheels!!
Nice touch for sure!

thank you. the rotors are all rusted like that cuz the car hasn't had a chance to move in about a month or more. once its running again i'm going to upgrade to slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads with SS brake lines. then i have to focus on the cooling system and probably get an APEX'i SAFC so i can tune the beast some.

its been down for as long as it has because i don't have the money to fix it. i don't make very much at my job and i had just put the motor in about 3 weeks before it blew which drained all my money. so right now i'm trying to get money together to have it rebuilt.

i make less then 20k a year and this car see's every penny of it. i don't have much, if any, money for my personal enjoyment. i don't mind spending on the car though because its the only thing that really makes my happy right now. if i'm pissed or upset i can go for a drive and come back feeling lots better.

to me, the car is my girlfriend basically, and right now i really miss her. :(

I feel you on that...I make just under 20k a year-- and it *sucks*. All of my previous savings went to the downpayment on the STi. I'm definitely not hurting for money [i can pay bills fine each month...usually;], but the little extra funds I do have goes into the car...

hang in there...it'll get fixed soon enough.

if i wasn't living at home, there's no way i could pay my bills AND fix the car. thats how little i'm making. i hate it but i'm making the most of living at home with no bills other then insurance on teh car and gas.
