i've got an old sportscar magazine were they did a feature on him. at the time he was autocrossing a really sweet 3 series. i hope this means jackass type shenanigans at nopi events.

here we go with another Nick Hogan...money gets you anything??

now if the guy can drive.. great. if he cant.. get the fuck off the course, will be dangerous to the real drivers.

*edit.. just read that mini-bio that Andy posted.. seems like he has his head on straight.. pretty accomplished. hmm.. wait and see.

yeah, Ryan is pretty damn good. I wonder what car he'll be sliding for the series? :?:

ehhhhhh yea.

I don't like the idea of celebs trying to be cool. If he would have started driving in the FOERST events, or would have been seen at alot of drift days, then its ok. Just seems like he is jumping on the bandwagon. Being a good driver is besides the point imo.

I guess we'll see. I know Jarod DeAnda sorta introduced him to drifting at Irwindale. I'm with most of you - if he can slide... awesome. If not... then, well... meh.

I do think it's good for the sport with high-profile people show interest. Who knows though. I definitely thought it was interesting.

ryan dunn IS cool, he doesnt need to try

my thoughts

1) dunn i dont mind. hes been into cars and stuff but i dont like how he wants in and gets in. work your way in.


2) dunn was at SEMA, i saw him in a lot of booths talking to people that i knew.

3) dunn has been at some FD events, i know because i wanted to get his autograph while he was playing low profile at i think wall speedway this year and i cant remember where else


4) airplane!. over unger unger over unger dunn dunn unger dunn over over dunn

5) i think it will be cool, but i dont like the jackass association with drifting. im a jackass, most yall are jackasses, but for proffessionalism which the sport is really lacking, it doesnt help one bit. its kind of a hypocritical wish, but the sport needs to be more proffessional.

nascar has tony stewart
drifting has everyone.
