OBDI cars fail emissions because, that is if all electronics are stock....

1: cat
2: O2 sensor
3: spark plugs
4: clogged air filter
5: PCV valve is bad

Ok so I got a new CAT and what do ya know.......... no you dont! I failed again!!! Looked at the egr and there were 2 lines disconected..... connect them and it starts to fail again and the emission guy felt sorry I guess and lets just say I passed.

Our guess is since the egr hasnt been working for god knows how long its prolly all goobered up.

it gets better though! I went to change my valve cover gasket after all this and what do you know they gave me the wrong one!!! The luck of the irish my ass! March blows.

Im glad this week is freakin' over!

SR's actually passes emmission's. I know of 2 people that pass sniffer without a problem.

new cats come with some shit in them you have to run them for a few days or a week before they work well

I had no idea and the guys that installed it didnt bother telling me. haha. damn!!!
