am I supposed to be in jail?

Post by POOPscandal »

ok, so i'm coming home from work and i just get onto 85N from 75S, and mosey on over the HOV lane. it looks like it could rain any moment (and i hate being rained on when riding the motorbike), plus i've got "six" by "all that remains" blasting on my ipod shuffle (which apparently rocks too hard and should not be listened to while operating anything that will reach 150 mph in a very short space of time).

so i'm rocking out and am like "fuck it, i'm getting home asap, fuck rain" so i start tearing down the HOV going between 110-130. at one point i look at my speedo and it says 128 and then i go over to my mirror and there is a car catching up to me.......

hmmmm. either this guy is nuts or he's a cop and i'm sorta fucked. there is traffic up ahead of me so i slow down to about 70ish and get over in the far left normal lane and the car behind me pulls up beside. i'm like ok, i'll slow and i'll let him get in front. nope, he starts pacing me. FUCK. then i hear the siren chirp. DOUBLE FUCK. i finally look over and officer friendly in unmarked car looks very stern and gives me a big wag of the finger and points at me. i put up my hand to say "sorry, i give up, whatever" and slow down even more. he passes me, passes the slow guy in the HOV lane, and goes about his merry way.

i go home at a more relaxed 70/80ish pace and get bogged down past perimeter to about 20-30ish, all the while thinking i might need a new pair of boxers cause i about shat myself.

Panda's doing a buck 30 with a cop behind them kicks ass! Good job. You should get some speeding is not a crime stickers made, so next time that happens you can hand one out to the cop after he waves at you.

Awesome! I was doing 130 a few weeks ago in the mountains. When we reached the end of the straight I saw sign that indicated there was a fast approaching right hander with a 25mph speed limit! Big props to the huge brake on the front of the Buell. I'm sure it won't be the last time it saves my ass. Heres to making it out of stuff you shouldn't have! LOL

not to burst your bubble but undercover/unmarked cars are not allowed to right traffic citations, they have to call in someone who has jurisdiction to do this. He probably just wanted to do exactly what he did, slow you down. He was probably heading home or on his way to somewhere he needed to be 8) . Your lucky he wasn't feeling like a dick and pulled you over and called in a squad car hehehe.

Since Nobody was polite enough to answer your question.

YES, you should be! LoL you lucky bastard.

I've never had them slow me down and then let me go, but i got pulled over after doing about 160 on hghwy 400 once and didn't get a ticket.
