well the dealership told me they couldn't get my car today because of something with receiving and blahblahblahblah. but i stopped there after work and was just like, where is my car? and then they'd give me song and dance and once again i would be like where is my car?

so finally they were just like, ok, definitely be here over the weekend but in the meantime take one of my cars. so they gave me a 2008 corolla to fuck around in with a full tank of gas and all of 4 miles on the odometer for the weekend. i feel bad for whoever buys this car. within its FOERST 50 miles its been redlined numerous times and had a few neutral drops. handles decent though.

well the RS is everywhere in the world but here, but from what i can tell its the 1.5 motor, a tach, and power windows and locks. i have the motor and minus all the other shit. i could've gotten a yaris S, and i would get a tach, power shit, *maybe* actual wheels (some don't), and aero, but the aero looks like crap and the package makes the thing cost almost 17k. and i'm not paying 17k for a 106hp kcar.

i talked with the dealer again today, and apparently its "on the ground" so hopefully i should get it monday. he also told me its the only 08 black 5 spd hatch w/ convenience package on the east coast. meh, i just want my car.

i has it. it was dark so no pics yet. and i don't get off work until after dark, but the pics will come. yeah, its pretty much awesome. way nicer than the corolla i was driving. though i do miss power locks and windows. the lack of gauges in front of me is kinda strange and i'm still getting used to. its like, how fast am i going ?*look in front of steering wheel* BLACK. there are like a billion stash boxes and the stereo is decent considering how much the car cost. i'm super stoked. next step is blacking out the badges, getting a NETZ badge for the front, tanabe springs, and hoping that coco can pull through on a secret wheel deal.
