It rained pretty hard this morning at the office, so even though the car was pretty dirty when I took off this morning from home, it's now nice and (semi) clean, so I figured I'd take a couple of shots. So for those of you who've been waiting to see how badly the bodyshop mangled by AE111, here goes nuthin':
you make me miss asia and the plethora of cheap parts and labor
Superb Tough Highest Performer Driven to Lifestyles Unimaginable PHOTOBLARG!NEW EXCITING BLARG!
"thanks man, I didn't do it, but I'm a fan of apple penis" - internet
where else can i get a set of (new)TOM'S wheels for $150 (with new lug nuts and valve stems)?
guarantee those kinds of deals in the states and eliminate the possibility of me ever getting drafted to iraq and i'll renounce my filipino citizenship right now.

[ANDY] Thanks, Mr. Sapp! The Scion badges were actually quite difficult to find, and here's a funny little aside: A couple of people on another board were horrified when I told them I shaved off all my stock JDM badges to put on USDM ones, he he! Def will bring the car if/when I do make it back Stateside, bro!
[CHAD] Thanks, bro! Dunno how easy/difficult it'll be to make it back to the States and when, considering I'm married and will probably have another dependent this coming year (the wife and I are finally working on a "little ones" program, he he).
[SLICK] No, this is only the SE-G/JDM XE Saloon model, so it's still only FWD, but the top of the line versions do get full-time AWD. There are actually a couple running around here in Jakarta, some factory, some self-installed (it's almost the exact same AWD system as in the Celica GTV-4, and the Celi's will actually bolt right up with very minimum alterations).
[STRUKA] Thanks! If that's yours in the sig, it's pretty f'in cool too! Reminds me of a 4-wheeled version of a Ducati monster...
[driftPanda] Ha ha! Another Pinoy, if I'm not mistaken? My dad's from the Philippines and I actually had Philippines citizenship until I was 18 and came over my Ma's side. Thanks for the kind words, bro. Yeah, labor costs here aren't the car mod virus killer they are in the States, but getting (genuine) parts are actually quite difficult.
[Yousef and VRT Eggroll] Thanks, guys, yes the AE111 is the 96-99 Corolla here, dunno the gen numbers and years of production for the USDM version, but the USDM and Non-US Market cars are very different. In terms of body parts, I don't think there's a single body panel that's similiar, I know the fenders, rear quarters, trunk, hood, bumpers front and rear, grille are all different between the US and Non-US Corollas. And the Engine and drivetrain specs are also different, there's a 4WD factory option here, not to mention the Sprinter 4-door models with factory 4A-GE.
