Course workers need some teaching or replacing. I think that would fix a lot of the problems or at least be a necessary start. They need to learn how to deal with track safety in general and some stuff about tandem.

they need to invest in some walkies, so they all can communicate with each other... that will help a lot.. I know a few people had them, but course workers should have them too so they can hold start, inform of other things, etc... More effective way of communicating than like hand signals and stuff..

We had them last day event.... but when I did the starting line I couldn't hear anything.

Day events are just easier to control it seems..... Plus less traffic.

yeah it's hard to ear, walkies with ear pieces seems to help some... Flags are helpful too, if a car spins hold the flag up... eh just little things... it'll be better once they get a few more events under their belt I think

A Remote controlled Yellow Beacon will be on the tower at the far turn to warn of a stalled car. This will be controlled by the cone chaser at the that end of the course and will be visible from the starting position by driver and starter alike.
This was the FOERST night event and we DID learn a LOT!

BTW a good Driver should be able to see a car in his / her path and regain control to avoid it. I know it was dark but I had no problem seeing other cars nor did anyone in the tandem madness. No collisions ( close don't count in drifting as a hit).

It's still 100% safer than any street drifting you'll ever do. + LEGAL!

Guys the event went real well. I appreciate everyones support with this event.

For our FOERST night event I was so happy to see everyone enjoying themselves. I have never seen happier drivers at an event before.

Going foward there will be a lot more thought into safety when it comes to a NIGHT event.

There were a few safety issues that were taken care of when appeared..

I appreciate everyones support in helping southeastdrift.com becoming what it is so far.

Weve come along way this year with the support of all of you and different websites showing lots of love and respect..

Weve got a few more events this year and I want all of you there.
