[edit: Turns out he really is learning. See him on pg2, and me on 3]
I was searching for drift video from the Nashville Speedway roadcourse and found some by our ol' friend Black Stig. He documents his progress through the day (which I must say was significant and done in a difficult car). But watch the video and look closely at the driver...
At FOERST you see David, black man, white shirt, spinning out. Then the best drift at 40seconds you can see the white shirt has moved to the passenger seat and a white boy, dark shirt, driving. Pausing in the 47-49sec. range you may detect this:
He does credit those helping him, but I think he still has more to learn...
drifting and otherwise.

1. he used the happiest music on earth which is good. *yackety sacks
2. that video is pretty boring
3. i forgot what 3 was. damn this was going to be funny. oh yeah i miss nick's car. that's not really that funny. i think that video made me retarded.
He has been really cool and chill at events. I give him props for sticking to it. I think a lot of people would never come out to a drift event ever again. You can tell he really loves the sport.

Creating video of other people driving and labeling it your own is in the category "crazy stuff". I know he's changed, I'm just saying there there's room for more.
This is probably the FOERST time I've even discussed him online and I don't want anybody to go kicking him, I actually try to help him a lot. But, his conduct was improved as a consequence of being called out and put in his place, where he faced the music rather than fighting or bawing. That's tremendously commendable. It's a dilemma... "tough love" you know.
Ooh this sounds juicy. Somebody PUHLEASE tell me what the fuck this guy did. If he recognized this error and is becoming better because of it then it shouldn't matter, right? PM me if you don't feel right posting it.
he basically lied about his background and told everyone he was some great driver and an scca instructor and would always act like some badass drifter on the interwebs.

Edit: sorry for sounding bitchy I'm just tried of drama and people picking on each other

"if you see team rowdy in anyone's sig, just don't even read the post. From my experience anything they've said to me was assholish and most of what i read is the same."
ok. so i watched it. its boring, but he seems to really have improved over the day. after watching again and paying attention to the text. basically he says "what can take his not so great driving and make it look like this". i took this as: he wants to emulate whoever was driving his car at the 40-49sec range [yes he should have had the other drivers name or something to indicate that somebody was showing him the course is his own(stig's) car]. the answer was "practice and a ride with 'this' guy (again should have had drivers name on screen during the run). then he goes to show his improvement.
honestly i think he should have added the names on the screen, but otherwise he meant well, and he seriously did improve alot over the day and on a not so easy to learn course.
dont really know him at all, but am aware of his past and his apology and his new path (so to speak).
My 2 cents = He ripped it at Lanier Last night towards the end.. He followed Howard the whole time around the track and did a great job.. He's really learning and learning quick... He's OK in my book.
