HyperFest/US Drift Nationals @ Summit Point - July 16

No... the motor hasn't gone yet. I dunno what is up with the car. I can't quite place my finger on it... but I'm guessing it's on it's way out. Maybe has a compression leak or something. It just doesn't seem to have as much power these days.

I'm at a hotel outside of Roanoke, VA... about to snag some sleep (for once, lol). This event was AWESOME!!! Despite fighting my car more than ever... I had a great time. The track was REALLY fast. It was crazy! Our buddy Doug Van Den Brink nailed 2nd place!!! He was driving like a madman... it was incredible to watch. He gave J.R. Gittin a run for his money, no doubt. I was stoked to see him tear it up in that Mustang.

My parents came up with me... and my grandparents drove down from WV... so aside from sliding - it was an awesome day!!!

Anyway... time to recharge the batteries. I'll finally make it home tomorrow. I'm sooo ready to sleep in my own bed after two weeks on the road.

Slide to Side Homicide continues...

What a fantastic day! Everyone did a great job out there and the school was a good experience since I've never been on a track before, the skidpad was sweet. Here are the few pics I took of the competition:
