he going mid mount intercooler setup and has to move the radiator back a couple inches. like matt said altima e fans are what i've always heard work best on a budget. you could get a thinner mechanical fan too.

I second the Spal fans. Not the cheapest but they for surely flow great. I honestly think they give their CFM rating through a radiator set-up while some of the others rate their CFM's free flowing.

On my swap project I got lucky and ended up being able to find a dual spal fan set-up that fit the racing radiator that I went with. I know this isn't a stock 240 set-up but after doing some measuring and looking around I was able to find a fan and shroud set-up that fit over the radiator pretty nicely. ($285 is what I think it cost, honestly hated spending the much on the fans but they fit so nice and after I tested them out in the car I am totally glad I spent that much on them for they are worth it!)

Haven't done a lot of driving with the car yet but on the low setting (where we have the relays set up to series the fan together for 1/4 speed) it cools the car down quickly and when you turn them on high is sounds like there's an airplane getting ready to take off! Okay, not really but it is loud for fans and you can tell they are pumping out the air! I don't think the computer has turned the relay on for high fan setting yet actually.



and I created a way to mount the fan set-up to the radiator and kept it right up against the radiator to make the fans pull the air through the radiator as best as possible. I also liked how the shroud already had rubber flaps in it so that the natural flow of air when the fans are off would flow right through but when the fans turned on they would flap back down and again allow the air to be pulled through the radaitor. Like it's already been mentioned, the shroud is a very important step to proper cooling so whatever fan set-up you do make sure it's installed to work right.

i am thinking of getting the single 12" spal one...its like 1650 cfm and costs 150. that should be plenty.

Just mount the rad on the hood with 4 altima fans and bam!

as long as it's short runs with lots of cool down. unless you're still rocking the KA, then you should be ok.

I love the flex-a-lite's that were on my 240, as soon as it warms up if I still have the S13 rad and fans I'm seeing if they fit in the FC.

screw it.. gonna get the flex a lite duals...so i wont have to worry about anything
