electric fans

so i need to buy some electric fans, i been lookin at the flex-a-lite dual without the thermostat but its so expensive. you can get the universal one for like 250 ....

or the one that is for 240s but they are like 300-390. wtf?
anyone know where i can get or if the ones for 250 will fit. my car isnt here so i cant measure it to see if they will.

just get a pair of universal fans for half the price and call it done.

i use fans from a sentra ser. got them for like 50 bucks.

I recommend OEM electric fans over aftermarket ones. The fans are shrouded more properly. Also when wiring them, try to use 12-14ga wires.

altima or taurus SHO fans work well too supposedly.

They are electric. What I meant is using OEM fans off of other vehicles are better than flexalites.

enough CFM for what? normal drifting, yes they will have plenty. crazy long demo type driving, maybe/maybe not.

a lot of people use the alty/taurus fans because they actually tend to flow more air than most aftermarket fan setups.

Spal makes some really thin fans that pull some major CFM's.

Most 240sx's I've seen have huge gap between motor and radiator. I don't think he needs something thin. Unless he has a V8 or a inline 6.

Altima's come with KA24DE's too. Taurus's have 3.0L V6's.
