turn a profit? shouldn't they just be worried about breaking even?

Sande, are you guys in DC already or will be by the end of the month?

we leave next Wednesday the 10th so we can make the smoke em series on the 11th. I think we are gonna pack up, stop by since Syn has entered, and then head on up to our new home!

Well, I've emailed USDrift, and left voice mail about pre-registration for the event, and heard no word. I don't mind making the trip up there, as long as I have a spot reserved.

I'm still waiting to hear word.

I just got off the phone with Chris Cobetto, and here's the deal:
$60 for the practice session
$100 for practice session and competition.

Competitors (very advanced ones at that) are going to have the chance to circuit drift with 6 cars on the track at once. Corner workers, the whole nine yards... just like you see in the Option videos. I don't think they're running the competition in circuit mode... it's just an opportunity to run continuously, circuitStylee.

Registration should be open tomorrow online, and he said spots will fill EXTREMELY fast. He said his phone's been ringing off the hook about this event. Drifters should have about 4-5 hours of available track time. How this breaks down per group & per driver, I'm not sure.

Registration is at 7:30am... so I'll be getting a hotel up in Charlotte.

I'll also have to pick up a set of driftWheels I got on eBay... I'm not sure if I can get them on Saturday or not... I'll have to check and see.

Anyway... that's where we're at so far. I'll letcha all know more info as a I hear it!

Hahaha... you are more than welcome to! We have an aero bed to rock as well! I don't know what hotel yet... prolly the Sleep Inn that's 3 miles from the track.

Who all is going for sure? I need to know if I'm getting a room with a single... or if I'm going to DOUBLE IT!
Hahaha.

I need to secure the WARwagon as well.
I'll make the hotel reservation as soon as I know who is going for sure.

Let me know!

RAWK!
Yeah, if we leave around 8pm, we should be good to get there 11:30-12ish.

I'll try and take off early... but I'll have to see, since I'm taking off early this Friday for HIN. Time will tell, I suppose.

we have a blow up matress as well, we haven't figured out if Syn is actually off work that day or not, but we should know by the end of the week. It's a 6 hr drive for us, so we will definitely have to come down that night.
