That looks like it was really bad. I am glad to hear that you had only minor injuries. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Derek... I can't tell you how glad I am that you're alright. It sounds like the injuries were minor compared to what could have happened. If I saw those pictures without knowing you made it out... I would have never guessed you survived. Those pictures are totally insane. I can't beleive that was your car. It just doesn't seem real.

Get well soon, man... don't worry about the car stuff until you're doing better.

Man, I'm glad you made it out of that.
Wow, man... wow.

THANK GOD YOU ARE ALIVE!!!! those pictures are, for lack of a better word, terrifying. i am deeply sorry that you lost your car but happy that you only sustained minor injuries. captobvious said it well "cars are replaceable but lives are not" it's very true.

I still can't believe those pics. These just go to show that a roll cage in a street car is a good idea. These pics have helped finalize my decission to cage the MR2. Andy's right, forget about the car right now and get better.

thanks all. i'm actaully about 80% right now pysically. i don't remember what happened cuz i was knocked unconcious on impact. it had been raining really hard and there were leaves on the road. from what i've heard from witnesses, i hydroplaned going around a corner and slid across the double yellow, hit one dodge van, spun 360* and hit another dodge van.

i'm not going to be getting a car till after x-mas. i'm hoping to find a convertable 240sx to have as a dailydriver till i'm outta UTI. then i'll start modding once i'm done. i think it'll be good just to take a year off of modding cars for now.
