At 5:59pm on Dec. 9th, 2004, Lily graced us with her presence! She dialed in at 9lbs. 2oz. and 20.5" long with a full head of hair. Come to think of it....she had more hair than I've ever seen on a new born. LOL :p . The 12 hour labor went wonderfully. Julie was able to make it to 8.5 cm before finally giving into a Epidural (sp?). And as of Sunday (12-12-04) both mother and daughter are in excellent condition and currently resting at home in Columbia, SC.
wow! what an amazing experience. I was able to stay in the room and help with the entire delivery. And it was by far the most amazing thing I've ever seen! The best part was I didn't pass out! hahahaha.

already is!
thank you guys!!!
So far being a dad is awesome! I find it amazing how much you can love/care for someone who you've only known for a few hours. And I didn't realize this until I had to leave Sunday. It was incredibly hard to leave her there knowing that I wouldn't see her again for at least another week.
I can't wait for all of ya'll to have the same feeling. Becoming a parent is truely an awesome experience!
That's so amazing. Congradulations on what is probably the only thing that will make car racing seem unimportant.
Not that i speak from personall experience, but all my friends that have had kids say it's about 1000 times more enjoyable that being behind the wheel. Good luck, and you have a beautiful child.
