hooray for new toys

freaking finally my turbo showed up, and it's purdy. worked dilligently on monday to get the thing in the car and do necessary fabrication (machined my own water in/out fittings, machined my own banjo bolts for those fittings, re-clocked for bottom mount and tweaked the actuator bracket to work as such, heatshield modifications, oil lines), and now all that is left to do is fab up my intercooler piping and i'm done. all of my silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps showed up today from RPS (highly recommend these guys for this stuff, good prices and uber zen-like shipping times) so tonight after work i'll make some noise and finish my intercooler piping. can't wait to dyno.

Dayom, killa! It looks dick! All shiny and new!! What size is it? How much was it? How much power do you expect to gain?

http://www.racepartssolutions.com they sell all of the silicone couplings, t-bolt clamps, AN fittings and lines, and lots of other fun fabrication parts.

it's a GT2871R w/upgraded T04E compressor housing (normally has a T04B housing. price was too much for the time i waited

, but i did get a killer deal for $1050 shipped. dual ball bearing, .64a/r exhaust housing, both GT series wheels. this turbo should be able to push about 380whp with some good gas and the boost turned up. i'm only looking for a little over 300.
