Ok so my ultimate goal here is to get a scca rally liscence and get dirrrrty, which I eventually will do through http://www.gorally.com 's program. But obviously, I should and want to compete in the SCCA rallycross and road rally events. Problem is, I can't find any in the southeast on the SCCA main webpage. I looked at the southeast/central florida SCCA site and they have events listed for 2k2 and 2k3, but not this year.

Do any of you SCCA heads know about any that go on here in Georgia? Or even in FL, NC, SC, or TN? I want to do these type events rather than auto-x ones [which i will probably also start doing now that i have time freeing up with no classes], but can't seem to find out much. Any info is appreciated!

Thanks for the info shane! It sucks that the SCCA has every rallycross/road rally event on hold. I wonder what the hell the deal is! I will probably join that other non SCCA rally group since it is only 20 bucks and they've got quite a few events in GA and TN.

Ok who wants to be my codriver???:D

When I get all the info about registration, etc, I will let you know! I'd really like to do an all girl rally team but I guess that's kind of hard considering I don't know too many girls.

Hey will you put on a wig or something? hahaha jk.

The Ga./Southeast SCCA rally scene has been crap for about a decade. It's a shame too, because there are some great roads. I bought an SCCA pro rally Mazda about ten years ago and couldn't do anything with it. So I did what any self respecting rally car owner would do, I used it as a daily driver for a few years. I still know the guy that owns it and I can buy it back for about $500. I was kinda thinking about turning it into a drift car. Maybe a driftmechaniks school car or something. I should call him.
Beans and cornbread.
