Is that difficult to put in?

And are stock ones known to break?

not too hard, loosen the tranny mount from the tranny, take off the tranny cross member and swap it, reverse for assembly.

stock ones aren't known to give out with the miles I have, but with the mods I have there's alot more driveline movement.

now you need the Ver7 STi tranny. the 5spd one. 4.444 final drive!!!!!!!!!! the wagon one has the longer 5th gear for better highway enjoyment (you wont be cruising at 4k the whole time).
