really sweet roads that start about 1 1/2 from 285 and 85. the 64 goes on for days. great waterfalls, hiking trails, picnic lunch spots and enough turns to make most people feel nauseuos after only 30min.....well as long as there arent any people from florida that have never driven on a road that goes up and down while cutting through mountains. 55mph unless otherwise posted. "sorry officer i missed that 20mph sign, there was a semi in the oncoming lane" has worked for me before.
if anyone is ever interested in a little journey for some new mountain road runs let me know. i know the main roads pretty well, havent really travelled off the beaten path much. only draw back is its one lane per direction for a long time. very rarely are there areas for passing and most people dont seem to know that those spots on the side of the road where theres a big section of shoulder that is paved/covered is for pulling over to let other drivers go by. oh well theres always atleast one during the hour jaunt thru 64s twisties that has no clue how to drive in the mountains.
