.:Grip to Grip Homicide(?!#?) My FOERST SCCA Points Event.

Post by gotundersteer? »

Well,

My FOERST autocross (competitive) went great. I came in 5th place in STS (out of 19 people) and probably could've gotten a better time with one more run. Anways, thanks to everyone, and here are the results and pics.

Results:

Place: 5T- #56- Andrew S: 2004 Ford Focus Black 56.202 53.341 52.982 52.982
+1.002

 Oh, and I'm getting some chrome/silver magnetic numbers made as we speak. Also, some blank magnetic material for decals and such. The pics are kinda cheesy, my mom took them. It was the FOERST her or my dad have ever seen me out there, and they really enjoyed themselves and have a new respect for my passion. They're definitely excited and want to come to the rest of the events.

^Lame pic, my mom took it. I was up at like 6am to get there on time.

^My new G-Force Helmet!!! Black, black neck pad, and black visor on the way!

I was there the day before for the test-n-tune. The course kinda sucked that day, and I made half my runs in my monster of a totally wore-out, stock 89 240. :) FOERST time I'd been out in a long time. I wanted to do Sunday too, but didn't have the cash. Good job taking 5th in STS for your FOERST event. That's a tough class.

I was out there too. I was running EP with in my ae86 didn't car about where I placed. I just wanted to avoid getting dnf's. hehe
Oh and I also got a decibel warning.

Another note: due to accident on sugarloaf and the second car of the the autox cross taking out the timer we only got 3 runs instead of 4.
