I just been through my fav. forums and some bs ones to end my night and while ending my surfing at drifting.com i came across a bunch of useless threads from looks like wanna be drifter kids that say nothing but "rice, car-shows, those noobs, drifting rocks, etc" those kind of people that try to fit in the actual people that do go to events so they won't look like the bandwagon jumpers.
I also started to see this at zilvia.net where 75% of the post being down now are by people that registered last year and this year. And nothing but useless post that could have been found by using the search button. Alot of the old posters from 01-02 don't post as much cause its getting to a point that its getting way to noobish. I also alot over in club4ag and rx7 forums that they are getting the same thing. Its getting way out of hand don't you think? Sure its good for the commuinity in some way, but it hurts us a whole bunch more with noobs crashing their cars on the mountains, drifting in residential streets, so on. I think it is not worth it. Don't you just wish there was like a screen process people go through to get involved with this sort of sport? Speically the media and BS companies that just want to milk the sport into a big loud load of blah.
Ok am sorry, just had to throw that out there after these pointless threads i seen.

I know what you mean. I've noticed the same thing on other boards. Some of those posts are hard to read. It's one of the reasons I decided to start this forum up. I started thinking that most of the people I know who are into drifting aren't li'l kids... and definitely not ricers. I figured it was a chance to create a community where a different calibre of people could interact.
While we may joke around (all the time), and make gawty photoshop pictures, I think the people on this forum are slightly more mature, and it shows. I don't even think we've had a flame war yet! That says a lot.
From the get-go, we've had a solid group of people on board.
I definitely can't thank everyone on this forum enough for being so awesome.

Yeah this has become my favorite forum these days, because its pretty much local and the people seem to be a little older 20~ and not a bunch of whiny punks.

yeah you know, its just that most of us (most likely all of us) got tired of the noob threads, flame wars, admin assholes, etc... you couldn't post ur opinion on something because u'll get flamed or someone well just close the thread. It just gets old and we want a more mature forum were u can just have fun. Some people take this to far you know. I love this forum!!! Its just laid back and chillin in here! hehe... thanks andy for the forum!!
