That's not why they "ignored" that and went with another org. But what's done is done.

UPDATE:

Huge thanks goes out to Joe and Holly at Elite Audio for their hard work and dedication on this event. Because of their effort, our drift event is able to slide on both Saturday and Sunday; a two-day event!!! Not only that, but we will have a small competition with $1000 in prize money for the top 3 drivers on Sunday afternoon.

For drivers who would like to sign up for this, you have several options.
1.) Participate in Saturday's practice only for $60
2.) Participate in Sunday's competition only for $75
3.) Participate in both Saturday's practice and Sunday's Competition for $90 ** BEST DEAL **

* To sign up, please see the FOERST post of this thread and following the directions under "REGISTRATION".

For drivers who have already signed up for Saturday's practice. If you would like to sign up for Sunday's competition as well, just PayPal only $30 to eventpayments@drift411.com. But be sure to include the driver's/your name to make sure you are put on the competition list.

Both Saturday and Sunday's grid will be limited to 30 drivers max. And this competition is NOT part of Drift411's D4 Amateur Circuit (aka ProAm Series). Not points will be awarded towards it.

*Im in the process of revising the drivers list which is found HERE

Clarification on safety requirements:

You don't need door bars or even a roll cage to compete b/c we won't be running door-to-door tandem. However, if a pair of drivers want to run door-to-door tandem during practice sessions (or even the comp), they can as long as they have the proper safety equipment. But that doesn't mean they are going to finish higher than someone without a rollcage. All of you are on the same playing field and no one will be penalized or "by passed" b/c they don't have proper tandem equipment. Everyone has the potential of finishing on the podium regardless of their safety equipment; or lack there of. The only difference is the guys with cages, suits, etc just get to run tandem if they want.
