Like in the bottom corner of whichever thread you happen to be in. I'm clueless so for the people that know, how hard is that to do?

My guess is that you basically can't do it with phpBB, right?

Would be nice.
I typically <view_new_post> then open each one in a different tab. Returning and sometimes refreshing the <view_new_post> tab.

I don't know if you can do it with phpbb. There may be a hack. This software sucks. If I only knew then what I know now...

But I do the same thing Rhoad does. I keep the view posts since last visit window open, and tab thru different windows.

yeah "view posts since last visit" is what i have bookmarked everywhere and generally the fastest way to navigate dM. i just thought i'd throw it out there since i've seen it on other forums.

i'm still happy you changed the top pic :)

yeah that's what i use but i'm talking about while you're in a thread posting, a little overlay that let's you know someone else has responded while you're typing.

oh yeah. Sorba.org does that, but it's not a popup, it adds text the reply screen above the text box where you type your reply
