shipping wheels

Post by Frosty_SPL »

A kid on zilvia wants my BBS wheels. About how much does it cost to ship them? USPS, UPS, UPS Store, FEDEX?

Thanks!

whatever you do, DON'T use the UPS Store. their affiliation with UPS is loose at best and they are notorious for charging waaaaay more than necessary to send packages. deal with UPS directly if you go that route.

K-Fed-sExxx is the best. charge them at least $100 for shipping.

Usually it is a little cheaper to ship two wheels together, so that you only have two boxes at the end. I usually find four boxes, one per wheel, then put two into one larger box.

ship them in pairs, they are less likely to get lost that way. then put cardboard over the faces and inbetween the wheels and wrap them togethere in plastic wrap. then slap a sticker on each wheel, that way if the do get seperated the still hopefully end up in the same place. this is how rb motoring shipped me my wheels a couple years ago.

If you want I can dismount the tires before you ship them, unless the guy really wants the tires that are on there. Would save both parties some moolah and headache.
