 I got an IDEA!

Spend $300.00 on a Valentine 1 radar detector and run 120mph everywhere you go, and never get a speeding ticket again!

bullshit..they can still give u a ticket. a lot of cops now turn off their radars at night and once they see that u might be going kinda quick, they flip it on and they got u.
and so what if they will pay the ticket, but who will pay the insurnace that will kick u in the nuts later on.

They can "clock" you by sight as well. As far as I know, officers with a certain amount of feild experience (5 years for example) can "read" traffic speed based on sight.

There's a trillion ways they can get you. There's a button on some of the guns that will instantly give them the slowest and the fastest speed on the road at that time. Adam's right... the new trend I've noticed is the "wait until they see you speeding - then turn the gun on and BAM" technique.

Oh, and that laser sheeot pwnz me.

some of the onboard radar systems they have now don't actually hit you until you're close. i guess they read distance and then pop on last minute.

anyone know of a good traffic lawyer? i noticed that my ticket did not have the 'device number' or 'calibration' on it for the laser gun.
