I just want you guys to know that everything worth a damn is hard to get and that's what makes them so rewarding when you have some success. Everyone has to make decisions in life, just don't take the easy road, it's almost always the least fulfilling. Maybe some of you guy's need to do some other motorsports events, but don't turn your back on what you have spent so much time and energy helping to build. Please do plan for your future but don't forget about your dreams. Thanks for your tire smoking attention and entertainment.
I couldn't agree more. I've been stuck on this phrase I read in Thrasher not to long ago... it just rings out in my head whenever I start thinking about this stuff.
"While the window is open... you have to do what you can."
I know one thing... I'm not stopping. I love this sport too much. It changed my life for the better. It's given me purpose, and an overwhelming drive to do things I never thought I could. I've grown with the sport, and would like to think that I helped it grow. Even if I back off on killing myself to attend so many pro-level events... this freight train is far from stopping. Maybe I have to abide by that quote, and do what I can... because I've worked hard to get this window open.

If there's one driver I think can sustain himself in drifting... I'd have to say Forsberg. He seems like the kind of guy that can manage an action-sports career and pull it off. He's got a marketable edge... and the dude DESTROYS it behind the wheel.mikespeed95 wrote:and i've always wondered what the DA guys are gonna be doing when their 35?
I think as drifting grows older, it will be interesting to see who can follow the lead of other pro action-sports figures... and make drifting their bread winner.

Chris and I were talking, and we are both wanting to start getting back into raod racing more. I mean drifting will be the primary, but road racing when availible will be a "Go"!!
Exactly! Thats why I am still eventually going to finish the M30 (if I don't sell it FOERST) but I have to get other priorities in order FOERST. The M30 is at the back of the list. Please do plan for your future but don't forget about your dreams.
