lol @ Deagle. Ideally, i'll end up with a compact or subcompact single stacked .40 for my conceal and carry. But for now, being cheap as hell, i love shooting my 12g and my Browning .22 semi-auto rifle. Cant beat it for fun factor.

But Erin, tell me more about this MP5 .22 gun. that sounds fucking badass!!!!

I think i may actually look into getting that P22, it'd be a good compliment with my 12g. Once i get the mag capacity out to 7or8 +1 and the barrel down to a 24" or 20", i'll be set for a while.

Hey Cody, so you seem to be pretty keen at modding guns, can you help me find an 8+1 magazine tube extension for my Mossberg 500. I THINK the Mossberg 590 parts will fit it as well. I would think that someone would make one, since the 500 is their base model gun, and the same one that they modify for Military and Police use. But i cant seem to find anything for it besides stocks, and i dont want to worry about that until I increase capacity.

why you need a larger compacity for shell holding kyle? learn to be a good shot, cause then you only really need one shell.

haven't done a ton of shotgun research, but found this in my quick search: http://www.tjgeneralstore.com/magazine_extensions.htm (although it doesn't actually list the 500, so it might be of no value).

Adding additional magazine capacity to a mossberg is a different story. While our test gun came with an extended magazine tube and consequently an 8+1 capacity, it is all once piece and as such requires a different barrel setup as compared to the regular mossberg 500/590 series. On this particular setup the barrel is attached to the receiver by means of a cap screwed onto the end of the magazine tube (quite like that on the 870). In contrast, on the regular 500/590 series a lug extends beneath the barrel and holds the barrel to the gun by means of a locking nut. The geometry of the lug is such that it is impossible to add a magazine extension. If you want greater magazine capacity your only option is to go with a 590 model that has the extended tube barrel geometry, such as our 590 special purpose test gun or the 590A1.

i'm preparing for zombie apocalypse. me and cody have got our house pretty well armed. how do you think you'll fare? i think we should have a set dM rendezvous point from which we will move north where zombies will freeze in the winter time and give us time to recover and prepare for zombie thawing/killing in spring. yeah, i think about this a lot.

wouldn't it be good to destroy masses of zombies while frozen?

i think the redezvous could be jersey, not even the zombies want to go there so it would be a good safe zone.

ill be fine, ive got enough bullets and gun to last through spring/summer. oh and as for the dM meeting spot, im suggesting stl, cause we have these guys here

Damnit, i've pretty much determined that the 500 is not extendable at all, and my best bet would be to just buy the 590A1 lol. Thats not gonna happen. So i hope i never have to blast any more than 6 people lol, i'll get get a shortened 20" or 24" barrel, and call it a day, then start saving for the hand gun.
