Just have more than one team....get sponsorships to pay for the entry fees and what not like tires and such.

sweet, 6 drivers it is.

we need to grab up this FC, sell anything and everything we don't need, buy some of the cragar 16x10 -38 nascar style wheels from summit ($47 each, although that won't even count towards the $500 total), find a few decent tires, make the craziest boso pipes ever (but hide a muffler in them somewhere :( ), cut the springs or buy $75 ebay specials, build a cage, make some homemade aero, and done.

sounds easy enough :).

I can get brand new 15" Azenis 615s for about $40 shipped. OR... we could get Kieren/GTE in on this with some tires.

I'd like to see every dM owned/affiliated company to have to sticker love on this machine if possible.

Im down to do any welding and/or fab-work I have a decent welder and pretty good welding skills. Also I have a decent shop in the basement of the house with a manual bender or two, a press, and bunches of other fun tools.

looks like people who have safety gear or can fit into their buddy's should get FOERST dibs.

that rules me out but i should buy a fire suit anyway. cool kids have them.
secondly fc's should have autopower cages. maybe that could get donated? everything else we can rob off of someones NOPI car. Fire bottle, HD padding for roll bars, seats, etc. no window nets those are gay.

boso pipes would be easy. just put a 1 to 2 flowmaster type muffler on the back and have the pipes come out of it and then up.

i would go with just some good sport springs and have keiren give it a good alignment. depending on wheels tires shouldn't be an issue. you could go with 225 front and rear and that should be more than enough tire for a gutted fc.

the hardest part is gonna be making flares and other boso radness for under 500 bucks.

the second harderst part is watching someone buy your hardwork/radness for 500 bucks after the race because they just want a part of it. they can't handle the whole thing.

Mufflers?.... what are those???

and the flares could be fairly easy, shape with foam and then cover it in fiberglass, fiberglass isn't that hard to work with and it's fairly cheap.

haha, true.

i has safety gears, and as gross as it may be, if anyone my size wanted to use it for a leg of driving, they probably could. probably wouldn't reccomend that though. although if we actually did go through with it, i might try to get a new suit as a celebration or something, haha.

if autopower would donate something, that would be rad. if not, wooley also has a bender and stuff, and i'm sure some peeps in our crew could make something work for it.

Maybe so. I don't care who drives (obviously I would love to be one of the six) as long as its a team effort. We all have our individual cars that we've built over the years. So, I think it would be rad for all of us to pitch in, build a car, and destroy the ever-living shit out of it doing what we all love to do.

edit... Im so close to buying bosoMechaniks.com isn't not even funny. Trigger finger is on the red button.
